CHN 110 - ELEMENTARY MANDARIN CHINESE I

Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent or department approval. This course is an introduction to Mandarin Chinese. It is designed to develop four basic skills in Mandarin Chinese: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Prerequisite: CHN 110 with a grade of "C" or better or equivalent. This course is a continuation of CHN 110 with emphasis on listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course is conducted primarily in Mandarin Chinese.

CHN 210 - INTERMEDIATE MANDARIN CHINESE III

CHN 211 - INTERMEDIATE MANDARIN CHINESE IV (H1 900)

Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent, and CHN 210 with a grade of "C" or better or equivalent. This course is a continuation of CHN 210 with emphasis on advanced conversation, reading, and composition. The course is conducted primarily in Mandarin Chinese.
